Once again with strong recommendations, we decided to have pizza at Valente's in Wynantskill, NY. We got there a little early for a Saturday night. The bar area was bustling, but we had the dining room almost completely to ourselves. The bartender doubled as our server and was prompt. We ordered a large pizza, half Chicken Parm and half cheese. Our food arrived in about a perfect 10 minutes. At first glance I thought "wow this is appetizing". This may sound corny, but as a pizza lover, the mood was set. The pizza was cut into 10 even pieces very well. We do rate the slice cuts in our points because a sloppy or lazy cut can be annoying!
Couldn't wait for the first bite and it did not disappoint. Very tasty. My first piece was perfect and the Pizza Nook was in pizza Heaven. My companion and I talked non-stop about how much we enjoyed our food. Great cheese, medium thickness crust, and some very nice aromas. I ate 4 pieces and the Pizza Nook ate 3, more than we usually eat. On the way home we noticed no discomfort or bloating, a ratings factor for our score. I loved this place and the pizza was the best I have had in a while. So I scored it a 98, my best score to date. Pizza Nook scored it a 99 with a smile. Great job Valente's of Wynantskill.
